From a young age, Chontae enjoyed caring for children and creating safe, joyful spaces for them to explore, learn, and grow. This natural gift followed her throughout her life — from helping raise younger relatives, to supporting neighborhood families, to eventually building a professional career in childcare and early childhood education.
Chontae’s educational pathway includes instructional experience from CLC and continued growth through hands-on training, childcare development work, wellness coordination, behavioral support tools, and practical leadership. Her training includes early childhood development, social–emotional learning tools, behavior guidance, emergency and safety preparedness, and professional childcare administration. Over the years, she has developed a strong foundation in planning structured routines, designing safe learning environments, and implementing healthy, supportive practices for children.
As a mother herself, Chontae understands firsthand how vital dependable, loving, high-quality childcare is. This personal experience fuels her dedication to providing families with a program that is not only reliable and safe, but warm, respectful, culturally responsive, and truly family-centered.
